A major milestone took place in Collegedale on November 2, 2010.
The election ballot asked voters to decide if Collegedale should have liquor-by-the-drink within the city limits. While the results were very close, more people voted FOR than AGAINST.
In a city founded with strong Seventh-day Adventist roots, the approval of selling alcohol in Collegedale has sparked controversy with people on both sides of the issue.
