Wow...it has been a long time since I have posted on this blog. It's not because I got tired of having a blog, rather it's because I have been involved with so many things I haven't had time to sit down and write.
Since I last posted, I spent the summer in California working as a summer camp counselor. While out there, I got to experience the West. I was in awe at how much of this country I have never seen. This summer was the first time I have been west of the Rocky Mountains.
Of course I found geocaches in California and Nevada to cross those states off my list. I was also able to explore Napa valley, Redding, the Pacific Coast, Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe and San Francisico. If asked which location I liked the most, it would be a hard answer for me to come up with. They ALL have a personality about them that made it exciting.
After my summer excursion in California, I came back to Tennessee to resume my classes at Southern Adventist University. While I have a very heavy class load this semester, I am finding the classes to be more and more exciting. At this point, I am looking at either Media Production or Broadcast Journalism as a major. Both sound fun, and I feel like I would do well in both.
I have found myself fascinated about the world around me. Journalism classes has widened my peripheral vision for the world around me, and has given me a fascinating appreciation for the people I come in contact with. While I feel as if I am very rusty in many areas, I acknowledge that this is why I am taking classes......to LEARN!
So now I strap on my seatbelt and once again rocket toward another week.....BOY it was fun updating my blog again!!!
